Kids Zone

Hey, hero. This part is just for you.

Everything down here is a game you can play out loud. You cannot get it wrong, and you can ask a grown-up to sit with you.

Four rules that are always true

  • My body belongs to me

Not to anybody else. Not even to grown-ups I love.

  • I get to say who touches me

I can say no to a hug, a kiss, or a tickle. Anytime.

  • No secrets about touching

If somebody says keep this secret, that is exactly when I tell.

  • It is never my fault

If something already happened, I did nothing wrong. Telling still helps.

Practice out loud

Try your Hero Voice

Tap a card, then say the words out loud as LOUD as you can. Practicing now makes it easier to remember later.

Good touch or bad touch?

Read each one and pick. There is no way to lose — every answer teaches you something.

  • A hug from Grandma when you ask for one

  • Someone touching the parts under your swimsuit

  • A high five from your friend at school

  • A touch someone tells you to keep secret

  • A doctor checking you while your grown-up is there

  • Tickling that keeps going after you say stop

Your team

Build your Safe Grown-Up Team

Write down five grown-ups you could tell anything to. If the first one does not listen, you go straight to the next one — and you keep going until somebody helps.
